Full Admission

Yes, I am a Christian.

No matter how illogical you think I am, I think you're just as crazy for ignoring all of the evidence in front of you.

I believe that there are things that transcend the life we lead here on earth. I can't accept that once we die, this is it.

I believe that we were created in the image of our heavenly Father. Honestly, how our planet came to be, whether by evolution, the literal creation story, or aliens coming and seeding life doesn't matter to me. The important thing is that we're here now because of Him. The sheer probability of life happening without some outside influence is mind blowing.

I believe that at one time, there was a man that walked the earth who proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that our Father still loved us. And to go the extra mile, he was crucified on a cross to pay the debt of all of the sins that I have committed. All the sins you have committed, too. His death and resurrection mean more to me than any earthly thing ever could. It is because of my baptism and faith in him that I am okay.

I believe that man still lives in our hearts today and in concert with the Holy Spirit intercedes for us in front of the Holy Father. I am thankful beyond words for the gift that I've been given. I see the results of my prayers play out on a daily basis. Whether or not they're answered exactly the way I'd like isn't important. He has a plan for me and that's the most important thing.

Without my beliefs, I'd be nothing. They're all I have, and I'm happy that way.
