I Am Currently On Hold With...

1. The Library...that has two books that I'm really looking forward to reading.  As of this post, I am number 22 out of 22 to check out The Checklist Manifesto by Abul Gawande and number 4 out of 4 to check out The Poisoner's Handbook by Deborah Bloom.
2. My Brain ...who caused me to not be able to have as much fun this weekend as I would have liked.  There may or may not have been an awesome wipeout while skiing that no one I knew saw. This caused me to not only ruin my chances at winning a gold medal, but prevented a second day of skiing.  Suck.
3. Dell...who never got back to me about purchasing a new laptop screen.  Funny thing is, I purchased one from someone else and will be terribly thrilled if they ever call me back.  
4. PBS...who is withholding the next episode of Faces of America due the week lag between shows that air and full episodes they post on the internet.  I wonder if me contributing money to them would change that.
5. Dinner...which for the 3rd night in a row that I've been home will be pasta and tomato sauce.  Yes, I'm very lazy and also haven't been to the store in a long time.
6. Being Able to Find Lower Quality Olive Oil...because sometimes EVOO is just too nice for the recipe I'm cooking.
